De zuidelijke ringweg - een prima verbindingsroute - van Aachen gaat vrijwel continue op en neer en dit is één van de grotere hoogteverschillen die overbrugd moet worden. Een voor in de stad best groene omgeving, jammer van de dichte hekken op de "Talbrücke". Grotendeels vrijliggend fietspad bestaande uit klinkers, alleen op de brug is het beton wat tegen de weg aan ligt (wel met een rand er tussen).
