This climb starts with a hard climb and bad tarmac. The steepness continues for a while until just after the sharp left turn, then it quickly becomes less steep. Vanaf de linker bocht verandert dit beeld volledig en wordt het opeens prima wegdek met ook wat gezaperige percentages. Eenmaal op het rondje boven wordt het asfalt wel opnieuw slecht.
De Lousberg is erg geliefd onder wandelaars, vooral het rondje boven is altijd erg druk. Best een kans aanwezig dat je hier niet vol door kunt trekken.
