Another of the short climbs up the northern edge of Salisbury Plain in this area. It's an enjoyable climb worth doing in it's own right but like all similar climbs in this area the surfaced road runs out and becomes a rough gravel track (time to turn around and head back down). If you're on a gravel bike / MTB then ride on - there is a network of gravel bridleways and byways linking all the road climbs across this northern edge of Salisbury Plain.
