It's a long one. It's never really difficult, especially as there's a short downhill section that feels good. I would certainly have preferred this long climb without rain. The road is good. Surprisingly, I passed very few vehicles. The scenery is beautiful but not sublime either. It's a really nice climb, but it doesn't leave any unique or magical memories. Worth doing, nonetheless. I give it 4 stars because the sun is back...
Up there, in the resort, the architects had a field day. They've done nature no favours.

C’est long. Jamais vraiment difficile, d’autant qu’il y a une petite portion de descente qui fait du bien. Assurément, je l’aurais préférée sans pluie, cette longue montée. La route est bonne. Étonnamment, j’ai croisé peu de véhicules. Les paysages sont beaux mais pas non plus sublimes. C’est une vraie belle ascension, mais elle ne laisse pas de souvenirs uniques ou magiques. À faire, néanmoins. Je donne 4 étoiles parce que le soleil revient…
Là haut, dans la station, les architectes s’en sont donnés à cœur joie. Ils n’ont pas fait de cadeau à la nature.

Did it a few years ago from Embrun running on a rather warm day (28C). Spicy, but beautiful to do for the enthusiast. 1.5 liters of drink and along the way there were a few places with a water point. Heb hem een paar jaar geleden vanuit Embrun hardlopend gedaan op nogal warme dag (28C). Pittig, maar prachtig om te doen voor de liefhebber. 1,5 liter drinken mee en onderweg waren een paar plekken met een waterpunt. Misschien handig om boven iemand met een auto te hebben waarmee je retour kan, tenzij je ruim 30 km wil doen.
