I rode up this "slope" when I had a strong tailwind. On my big gear and barely showing a grimace, I was at the top. I had done this road regularly before, but had not realised this was a slope. The track is also nicely asphalted which makes it easier to move forward. Just after the top, though, the road is less clean due to gravel and pebbles. You also have to cross a slightly busier road at the end, so pay attention there. Other than that, very nice area for cycling. Nice little roa... read more

A nice ascending road in the heart of the Hageland. It is not steep or difficult anywhere but the wind can play a role here. At the farmer's the wind gradually starts to pick up and after the first bend (to the left) you have a flat piece of 100 m and then to the right the road goes up again and at the end of this small road just before you have to cross the road you have the most uphill part. Once you have crossed the track, there is another short section at the end that is more ascending. From here, there are again several slopes possible. This slope is mainly a nice ascending area with little or no traffic.
