The stretch near the Auberge is guaranteed to go against/over 20％ so prepare yourself haha. Once you've had that, it's a bit more doable to the 'original' Tanet. There the road is wider again and lies okay. You drive among the trees and don't really have a view. After 8.5 kilometres it goes downhill for a while, then with some turns you finish the last altitude metres. If you want, you can continue nicely to Lac Vert, a typical Vosges lake. The road surface is bad, though.
Zodra La Schlucht afdraait begint het gekloot. Zo'n anderhalve kilometer aan 12,8％ volgens Strava. Het stuk bij de Auberge gaat gegarandeerd tegen/over de 20％ dus bereid je voor haha. Zodra je dat gehad hebt is het wat beter te doen naar de 'originele' Tanet. Daar is de weg weer breder en ligt er oke in. Je rijdt tussen de bomen en hebt niet echt een uitzicht. Na 8,5 kilometer gaat het even naar beneden, waarna je met wat bochten de laatste hoogtemeters afwerkt. Als je wil kun je nog mooi doorrijden naar Lac Vert, een typisch Vogezen meer. Het wegdek is wel slecht.
