Nice climb, starting from the beautiful village of Bourdeaux. The tarmac is very good. All the way up there are great views of the Trois Becs and the Massif de Saou! Physically, it's not particularly difficult, except for the heat of the Drôme sun, which can make you tired!... read more

Very nice climb in a beautiful setting in the beautiful Drome where in that region are many nice not too long climbs. Last year I did it 5 times because it was on the way to the camping (Le Couspeau). It's a fantastic campsite with very friendly owners and fantastic bungalows.
Ideal as a starting point for cycling tours.
The climb starts quite easy but once you get to the first hairpin, the gradient goes up and just before the center of Le Poet Celard, you have to take a sharp minus 15%. 1 km further you have the camping Le Couspeau and there is a serious climb but then it's on the big mill until the big track between Bourdeaux and Dielefit. Highly recommended if you're in the area and especially quiet regarding traffic.
