It's a very clean little road! Really, no worries about the surface. The gradients don't seem to be climbing at all. It's short but pretty tough. Some sections are steep (15%). The switchbacks are good. The forest is pleasant. The houses in the village of Le Châtelet are very authentic. The descent is a treat, but unfortunately doesn't last very long. A serious little climb away from it all.... read more

A short but beautiful little climb with surprisingly steep gradients, the road is very good despite some stones falling on the road, the steepest parts are in the shade even in the afternoon but it's still steep.
It is not necessary to continue past the last houses in the hamlet of Le Châtelet as the road becomes very bad and only in the woods, so it is of no interest.
For information there is a fresh water pool just before the start of the climb.
I didn't know it but I enjoyed it, thanks Climbfinder
