I did this climb on 2 Aug 25 up to the town of Novel. It is nice gradual climb through the forest. Occasionally you have views over Lake Geneva and the towns of Montreux and Vevey on the other side. Near Novel, you come out of the forest and have nice views of the beautiful mountains around you. In Novel there is a terrace with coffee etc. The climb is very quiet in terms of traffic (1 car every 10 minutes) and the road surface reasonably good.
Ik heb deze beklimming op 2 aug 25 gedaan tot aan het plaatsje Novel. Het is mooie geleidelijke klim door het bos. Af en toe heb je uitzicht over het meer van Geneve en de plaatsen Montreux en Vevey aan de overkant. In de buurt van Novel kom je uit het bos en heb je mooi zicht op de schitterende bergen om je heen. In Novel is er een terras met koffie etc. De klim is heel rustig qua verkeer (1 auto per 10 minuten) en het wegdek redelijk goed.
