One of the coolest climbs to do in the region in my opinion. You turn up and pass some historic buildings before winding through the forest. It never gets really steep so is more of a runner's route. Ideal if you want to leave the valley without driving yourself to pieces. Due to its winding nature, it is also very nice as a descent.... read more

The road was resurfaced in 2023, so it's much better than in the past, especially if you go downhill.

Nice climb to leave the valley and reach Jehay and its castle, otherwise about the coast the tarmac has been redone so very clean and the climb is 80% in the woods.

Quite a fun climb this one! You first enter a dark alley from the main road. After some old buildings, it gets greener here and flattens out for a while. Then you climb nicely to the top. Highly recommended, nice going and nowhere too steep
