This is a nice little climb for those who want to climb from the Ourthe valley towards the plateau of Samréé, although I prefer to climb a bit further from Marcourt. This is a nice little climb for those who want to climb from the Ourthe valley towards the plateau of Samréé, although I prefer to climb a bit further from Marcourt. Indeed, the road surface leading to La Boverie, which precedes the climb, is in very bad shape. But once it starts going uphill, at the bungalow park, the road gets better. It runs gradually uphill at first, but at the chalets there are some steeper stretches. Once you leave the park, you drive between the meadows and can start enjoying the views. Once you're at the top, it's worth continuing towards Devantave or Dochamps, as these are very quiet and beautiful roads. It still goes up and down, but the steepest climbs are already behind you.
