The run up to this climb, the road to Ulldecona is great. Then you transition onto the climb, and the road quality gets worse and worse. As soon as you get to the crossing to the road to the church you get much much better asphalt. The church itself was great. There was a weird but good atmosphere going on, like as if there was a party. Well it was Good Friday but it felt like a family was enjoying it with music and dancing. The church itself was great. There was a weird but good atmosphere going on, like as if there was a party. Well it was Good Friday but it felt like a family was enjoying it with music and dancing. Simultaneously I got to see the church, which you can imagine you can see a lovely church, with still being able to hear the 80s music from the party outside. Only bummer is that the hike I imagined apparently requires a guided tour. This hike gets you to see 6000 year old cave paintings, but I did not bother to check whether it was accessible without a guide. Alas my bad. Still it is really fun.
