Een heerlijke klim tegen de noordelijke helling van de Eifel. De aanrijdroute vanuit de Grachtstrasse is het beste, die vanaf de Heinrichsweg is nogal hobbelig. De klim zelf heeft zeer redelijk tot uitstekend asfalt en gaat over een smal en verkeersvrij weggetje omhoog, eerst door de weilanden en later nog door een stukje bos tot de T-splitsing met de grotere weg. Fraaie omgeving waar je doorheen rijdt en die je voor je ziet liggen en achterom kijkend heb je een weids uitzicht over het gebied ten noorden van de Eifel, met o.a. de gigantische bruinkoolcentrale van Weissweiler.
