Climb definitely do. The mountain from the youth of Pogocar and others. After the summit, cycle approx 4 km to hotel Kravec. The road there has new asphalt and nice hairpin turns at the end.
Klim zeker doen. De berg uit de jeugd van Pogocar en anderen. Fiets na parkeerplaats door naar de top op ca 4 km, bij hotel Kravec. De weg is daar met nieuw asfalt en leuke haarspeldbochten aan het eind.
Someone along the way told me it's the Slovenian Alpe d'Huez. Sounds about right to me, minus the hairpins and views. On top there's a parking lot that leads to ski lifts. Not much else to do than turn around and enjoy the lovely descent.
It's a must do if you're in the area, but probably wouldn't rate it the toughest in Slovenia myself. I found the climb to Krn more difficult, and possibly also the Mangart.
Did the climb from the campsite in Ljubljana. Beautiful direction to the mountains to Cerklje. That's where the climb starts. It is immediately steep. Limburg hills but then 10 in a row. Halfway is a very steep part. Descended to a fork and via Apno, Senturska Gora to Kamnik and back to Ljubljana, campsite.

De klim gedaan vanuit de camping in Ljubljana. Prachtig richting de bergen naar Cerklje. Daar start de klim. Die is meteen stijl. Limburgse heuvels maar dan 10 achter elkaar. Halverwege is enorm stijl stuk. Afgedaald tot splitsing en via Apno, Senturska Gora naar Kamnik en terug naar Ljubljana, camping.
Prachtige maar een (voor mij) zware rit.
