Kop Hill is a hard climb, especially if approached from Princes Risborough with the New Road climb to begin with (which should be considered as the full Kop Hill). People avoid Kop Hill more than they avoid Whiteleaf. Kop Hill is just brutal. The climb starts innocuously but steepens when you reach the trees. There are three ramps on the way up, getting progressively steeper. E.g. the section between the second and third ramps is as steep as the first ramp in itself. It's also awesome in descent, with very high speeds possible if you have the courage to stay off the brakes.
Not quite as long or steep as the neighbouring Whiteleaf, this is still a solid climb. Some nice views to begin. However, I tend to climb Whiteleaf, descend this, then climb Pink Hill. It’s simply too close to the much better climb.
