Of all the alternatives that exist to climb from the Maarkedal to the N8, I find the Kokerelle the easiest. Because it ascends the hill at an angle, it never gets very steep and there are even some flat stretches. The advantage is that on the left side, you have a fantastic view of the whole region. This makes the climb a pearl, because the neighbouring climbs often take you straight up and you cannot enjoy the view. In short, if you want to hurt yourself a bit more, the Kokerelle is not the place to be, but if you just want to enjoy yourself on your bike, you should definitely do it!
