The first part is a small road (with some speed bumps) under the railroad and then along a residential area and through a nice little valley until the main road where you turn right on the bike path. Until and just after the tunnel it is a bit steeper, then the road flattens out. Just up to the main road and then follows a long false flat over the bike path. To the right there are nice views so there is something to see. Eventually you see the road going up nicely and this slope continues until the traffic circle at the end.
Tegenwoordig loopt de klim direct vanaf Valkenburg. Het eerste deel is een kleine weg (wel met enkele drempels) onder het spoor door en dan langs een woonwijk en door een leuk dalletje tot aan de hoofdweg waar je rechtsaf het fietspad op gaat. Tot aan en net na het tunneltje is het even steiler, daarna vlakt de weg af. Even omhoog tot aan de hoofdweg en dan volgt een lang vals plat over het fietspad. Rechts wel aardig uitzichten dus er valt wel wat te zien. Uiteindelijk zie je de weg mooi omhoog gaan en deze helling blijft doorlopen tot de rotonde op het eind.
