A lovely climb and reminds you of an Alpine road with a hairpin & the typical gradient. Not a busy road really, I'd have to disagree with the other reviews. It's busier than minor lanes but far from busy. Climb starts with a long drag to the first corner where I kicks up to the hairpin. After the hairpin it almost feels flat for a v short period (take in the great views to the left) before a final steepening to the summit by a couple of houses. ... read more

Agreed this is a climb well worth the ride to the top and the bends give variety. Can be awkward with traffic.

Couple of good corners that ramp up to test the legs.
From the bottom you're gradually getting steeper up to 7-8% as you hit the first corner; it's a fast road with a fair bit of traffic at times so try to keep sighted but not near the centre line. Between the corners it feels steeper than it is. Once you get past the right hander then it starts to level out but it's a LONG drag to the end of the segment and it gets windy up here.

One of the 100 Climbs additional hills so nice to tick off, especially as one of the more notable climbs in the area.
