Nice long climb in two parts. The climb starts in Naurod and pulls through to a road junction where you keep right; after a hundred metres you then turn right where the climb to the Kellerskopf actually starts. After a few hundred metres of slight ascent, the climb gets steeper as you enter the forest. Halfway up you pass a nice viewpoint on Wiesbaden, and about's a hundred metres before the summit you can even see the top of the Feldberg on the left through the beans. At the top is a tower... read more

After a few hundred metres of slight ascent, the climb gets steeper as you enter the forest. Halfway up you pass a nice viewpoint on Wiesbaden, and about's a hundred metres before the summit you can even see the top of the Feldberg on the left through the beans. At the top is a tower and a restaurant that is only open on weekends; unfortunately, the tower is not open to the public. By the way, the road surface is extremely bad in several places, especially by German standards, so be careful on the descent!

Mooie lange klim in twee delen.

This route is often used by local cycling clubs for mountain time trials. The climb is divided into two parts. The first part climbs steeply in the village. After a small plateau, turn right into the climb to Kellerskopf. The hiking trail is tarmac and is easy to cycle on; watch out for potholes, especially on the descent! The ascent offers beautiful views of the Rhine plain with the Odenwald and Palatinate Forest.
