A tiring and powerful climb that rewards with a rewarding view of the island of RAB, the surrounding islands and the Croatian mainland. The road is very rough and rugged in places, but can be ridden on a road bike. After the asphalt section, it is still worthwhile to cover the last 300 metres to the summit on gravel, if necessary on foot.... read more

Despite the high season, this is a very quiet climb. A narrow road soon takes you to 12/13%. After the last houses, the road surface becomes bad: still paved but with potholes that regularly force you to cycle on the left side of the road. The climb continues with sections of 18-20% up to the restaurant. The last part is easier. Absolutely recommended both as an effort and for the views.

A road bike will do; I was glad I was with my mountain bike (especially during the descent)
