The road winds less steep but in a beautiful way further up to the T-junction where you have beautiful views both on the way and at the end.
De mooiste klim vanuit Voerendaal naar het zuiden wat mij betreft. Eerste een gedeelte vals plat tot Winthagen door een mooi dal. In Winthagen rechtsaf (moeilijk te zien, waar vanaf rechts een rooster er bij komt) waarna het meteen door een holle weg flink gaat stijgen. Je ziet weg weg daarna afvlakken maar voordat je daar bent ga je linksaf nog een stuk verder omhoog. Aan de linkerkant zeer fraai uitzicht over Winthagen. De weg slingert minder steil maar op een fraaie wijze verder omhoog tot de T-splitsing waarbij je zowel onderweg als op het eind mooie uitzichten hebt.
