Je fietst door het bos over een goed asfaltfietspad (je mag ook op de weg fietsen trouwens) langs een golvende weg omhoog. De percentages wisselen dus behoorlijk maar zwaar wordt het nergens. De klim is wat langer - en hoger - dan aangegeven omdat na het "natuurlijke" hoogste punt de weg even heel lichtjes daalt en daarna nog eens omhoog gaat richting het viaduct.
