This nice long climb already starts gradually in Wiesbaden, but after the three junction after the Golf Club, it only gets spicy. Road surface is excellent. I would certainly have given the climb 3 or 4 stars if this connecting road had not been so incredibly busy; this immediately makes the climb less relaxed. The descent to Taunusstein is beautiful with nice views, though.... read more

The Hohe Wurzel is one of the toughest climbs in the Taunus. Above all, the gradient, which changes constantly in waves, makes this climb stand out. The road surface is very good in parts, but also really rough in others, which in my opinion increases the effort. It gets really tough after the turn-off towards Georgenborn, but the traffic also gets a little less...

Wegdek is uitstekend.
