Short climb, starts suddenly steep, increases to 15 % and slowly eases off again towards Hinterthiersee. Popular and well-known among racing cyclists, probably due to the Rosenheim and Kufstein cycle marathons. Perfect for avoiding the busy country road along the Thierseer Ache. Nevertheless, there are sometimes cars or driving schools (presumably a practice route) on the road, but fortunately the road is wide enough. What a gem of a shorter climb. You have to be in good gear right away because you start right at 14-15%. The higher you get the more it flattens out. Only at the end do you get around 6-7%. The road is relatively narrow. Fortunately, the traffic does take good account of you.

Despite the long time above 10%, you do enjoy the scenery.

Once you reach the top of Hinterthiersee, a fountain next to the church provides fresh water and the descent down to Vorderthiersee is pure pleasure.
