A rather nice climb. It’s recently been resurfaced, so is very smooth, and very little traffic. The high banks, hedges and trees limit the scenery towards the bottom, but aren’t unpleasant. Not that one looks for scenery when the gradients are over 10%. Towards the top, it opens up, with great views back over Chew Lake.

This is a narrow tree lined lane so not much to look as you're climbing. Once you come out of the trees to the houses it shallows out and you're near the top.
