Very disappointing this Heidbrink, the highest peak of the Wiehengebirge. From Lübbecke, you first pass a very busy road. There is a wide and good cycle path next to it, so it does not bother you, but it is not fun. At one point, you dive into the forest, it gets nice and steep, but the asphalt is very poor and the whole road is littered with rubbish.

Unfortunately, you have to descend that road again, as there are only forest paths in the other direction. There are some really nice climbs in the Wiehengebirge, like the Kahle Wart in the west.
