A really nice climb in this region, which is otherwise so flat! It really would be perfect if it weren't for those annoying rain gutters running across the road every few metres. You regularly lose your rhythm on the ascent and the descent is almost annoying. Nevertheless: a clear recommendation! The view from the top is gigantically good!... read more

Dennoch: Eine klare Empfehlung!

How many times can you climb a mountain of mining waste? And do you meet paragliders and kite flyers at the top of an ascent? With an amazing panorama of the Ruhr when you get to the top? Right, so climb this summit!

The road to the top is fine, but is criss-crossed by drainage channels; up with a few hops in between :). Once at the top, you can continue on the various gravel paths, which, incidentally, are not recommended on a road bike for the descent.
