The main road from Frutigen is quite busy and there are many lorries and buses. Be aware the buses all have trailers so are longer than normal. These are used to transport luggage and bikes up to Adelboden - its a very touristy area. There is also an extensive Trottinet after Adelboden so expect oncomign traffic - even if there are no cars, there are likely trottis coming down pretty fast - I had downhill mountain bikes when I went who were not very efficient with the keeping to their side of the road. I suggest to go later in the day when this has stopped. The gondolas taking people up stop at 17:00 so I expect the trotti traffic to stop then. Great scenery but I didnt really like the trotti madness
