Great climb; maybe because it was my first 'Strade Bianche' strip of the day, but maybe also just because it is a fantastic setting. From San Rocco, things start to get fun early on; as soon as you turn onto the long gravel strip with iconic cypress trees you get goosebumps for the first time. The climb starts out steep and then keeps going briskly but consistently.
On Thursday 9 May 2024, the Giro d'Italia will tackle this strip.
