Ook deze zat in Limburgs Mooiste 2024 als doorsteek vanuit Heerlen naar de Duitse grens. Zoals beschreven door Fedor een mooi gelegen betonnen fietspad door een heerlijk rustig bos. Het overgrote deel is vals plat met zo nu en dan een uitschieter. Het was nu rustig,maar ik vermoed dat bij mooi weer iedereen dit fietspad weet te vinden. Het is breed genoeg om problemen te voorkomen in ieder geval.
Very nice located concrete bike path which climbs quite steadily and where a clear top of the climb is perceptible. Good road surface. The climb goes mainly through a nice forest but there are also some open areas. Towards the end, the valley of the Brunsummerheide is visible on the left between the trees (at least in winter). Zeer fraai gelegen betonfietspad wat redelijk gestaag stijgt en waar een duidelijke top van de klim waarneembaar is. Prima wegdek. De klim loopt voornamelijk door een fraai bos maar er zijn ook enkele open gebieden. Tegen het eind is links tussen de bomen door (i.i.g. in de winter) de vallei van de Brunsummerheide mooi zichtbaar. Het fietspad komt verderop uit bij een parkeerplaats, wat kan zorgen voor wandelaars op het fietspad.
