Green Hill is a fun little climb, and one that you may not consider using if you didn't know it, with it being in High Wycombe. The section round the first hairpin is the steepest, and you get some respite at the second hairpin before it ramps up again. It's not entirely through houses, the first hairpin is in trees, and you find some trees higher up as well. For me, this is preferable to Cryer's Hill, because that is so busy, and a bit of a grind. This climb offers an interesting alternative, and you can still get to Widmer End etc without using the main road.
