Korte pittige klim, mooie doorsteek naar Landgraaf. Strak asfalt, niet echt een bijzondere omgeving maar desalniettemin een aangename en eerlijke klim.

Road turns into gravel at the top of the outer ring, unsuitable for a racing bike. Turned back there. No traffic, along young forest and hedges, but not a nice view. A bit steeper after the left turn. Moderate road surface on the steeper part. Suspect the cracks will grow a bit further there.
Weg gaat boven bij de buitenring over in gravel, ongeschikt voor een racefiets. Ben daar weer gekeerd. Geen verkeer, langs jong bos en heggen, maar geen mooi uitzicht. Wat steiler na de bocht naar links. Matig wegdek op het steilere stuk. Vermoed dat de scheuren daar nog wel wat verder gaan groeien.
This seems to be a relic of an old and no longer used road (now cut off by the Randweg). The asphalt is still reasonable but the last 10 meters of the climb are gravel. The (official) cycle path continues as gravel until the roundabout but before that you have to pass through a gate.
It doesn't matter for the climb itself, you will only have to turn around at the end if you have thin tires. The climb is worth it. After a mild start the road goes up and keeps on doing that until the end. Pretty spicy.
Dit lijkt een relict van een oude en niet meer gebruikte weg te zijn (nu afgesneden door de Randweg). Het asfalt is nog redelijk maar op de laatste 10 meter van het asfalt ligt veel grind en de laatste 10 meter van de klim zijn gravel. Het (echt officiële) fietspad loopt als gravelpad door tot de rotonde maar daarvoor moet je ook nog door een klaphek.
Voor de klim zelf maakt het niet uit, je zal alleen op het eind moeten omkeren als je dunne bandjes hebt. Het klimmetje is het best waard. Na een mild begin knalt de weg omhoog en blijft dat tot het eind doen. Best pittig.
