Veel wielrenners zullen dit klimmetje links laten liggen gezien de vele bekende klimmetjes in de buurt en dat is enorm zonde! Vanuit de provinciale weg sla je linksaf onder het ‘miljoenenlijntje’ door en dat wordt het meteen flink steil. Heel lang duurt dit echter niet dus voor vele van ons prima te doen.
A nice climb. Until the tunnel it is not too bad, but then the road goes up very steeply and stays that way for a while. There is a small kink in the road but that is only for water drainage, the road keeps rising steeply. Very nice view of the church of Eys when you look back when the road flattens out.
After the top the road continues towards Baneheide. At the fork in the hollow road turn sharp right for the top of the Kruisberg.
Heerlijk klimmetje. Tot aan de tunnel valt het mee maar daarna gaat de weg lekker steil omhoog en blijft dat voorlopig doen. Er is even een knikje in de weg maar dat is alleen voor waterafvoer, de weg blijft gewoon steil stijgen. Heel fraai uitzicht op de kerk van Eys als je achterom kijkt als de weg vlakker wordt.
De weg loopt na de top door richting Baneheide. Op de splitsing in de holle weg scherp naar rechts voor de top van de Kruisberg.
