Definitely a hidden gem. The climb is fairly shaded on a very small road, with almost no traffic as the Diemtigtal is a nature park (but watch out for those cars with a permit, there is not much space to pass). The slope is always above 9-10%, with a tiny downhill just before the top. There is also a few hundred meters of gravel/pebbles (climbing), and 500 meters more at the top (gentle downhill), doable on a road bike (30 mm tires). Beautiful climb on a small mountain road. Very little traffic. Two small sections of gravel, one while climbing, which were passable on 25mm road tires but did require some special attention. Overall extremely picturesque and would probably be a five but wow is it steep on standard road bike gearing (50-34, 11-32).

Enjoy the downhill, the Diemtigtal is breathtaking! So many little kiosks with local products, cheese and ice creams.
