Nice long climb. Good to do in terms of percentages! From Montecayo natural park, lots of shade from the trees. The categorised climb stops at the point where the asphalt turns into gravel. I wanted to continue all the way to the top myself, as there is a hostel there. Unfortunately, it cannot be reached by road bike anyway. The last few km are doable despite the gravel. Leuke lange klim. Goed te doen qua percentages! Vanaf natuurpark Montecayo veel schaduw door de bomen. De gecategoriseerde klim stopt op het punt waar het asfalt in gravel verandert. Ik wilde zelf helemaal door naar de top, daar ligt een herberg. Helaas is deze per racefiets toch niet te bereiken. De laatste km’s zijn ondanks de gravel goed te doen. De laatste 500m is echter onbegaanbaar. Op een MTB of gravelbike zou het mogelijk moeten zijn!
