Climb in a beautiful setting on the road from Abbey Val-Dieu to Froidthier. The climb starts on the Route du Val-Dieu just before the start of the Les Trixes climb. The first kilometre is false flat. Just before you get to the junction with Rue d'Aubel, it starts going up and continues to the top if you have turned right at the junction. Especially on weekdays, keep in mind there is a lot/pressure of traffic.
Klim in een mooie omgeving op de weg vanaf abdij Val-Dieu naar Froidthier. De klim begint op de Route du Val-Dieu net voor het begin van de klim Les Trixes. De eerste kilometer is vals plat. Vlak voor je bij de splitsing met Rue d'Aubel aankomt gaat het oplopen en dat trekt tot de top door als je op de splitsing rechtsaf bent gegaan. Hou zeker doordeweeks rekening met veel/druk verkeer.
This climb is through a beautiful valley and on a quiet and excellent asphalt road (some minor cracks but you don't notice much). Largely a runner until the T-junction. Here you come out to a very busy road where you turn right for the just a bit spicier last altimeters to the top. The last part is not fun because of the huge crowds (at least on weekdays) but is short. The beautiful road and scenery before that gives enough pleasure.
Deze klim loopt door een fraai dal en over een rustige en prima asfaltweg (wel wat kleine scheurtjes maar daar merk je weinig van). Grotendeels een loper tot de T-splitsing. Hier kom je uit om een zeer drukke weg waar je rechtsaf slaat voor de net wat pittiger laatste hoogtemeters tot de top. het laatste deel is niet leuk vanwege de enorme drukte (iig doordeweeks) maar is maar kort. De mooie weg en fraaie omgeving daarvoor geeft voldoende plezier.
