Ein sehr schöner Anstieg: perfekt asphaltiert, recht wenig Verkehr und mit 3.7 km Länge nicht zu verachten. Die Anfahrt führt über die sehr stark befahrene Bundesstraße und man ist froh, wenn man endlich rechts abbiegen kann. Der Anstieg führt durch Laubwälder und ist daher gegen Sonne gut geschützt. In der Serpentine hat man einen schönen Fernblick. Die Ruine Frankenstein lohnt sich auch als Ziel.
