The track basically integrates 2 sections that can be considered separately. From Ponte Giurino to Berbenno there is good asphalt and a fountain in front of the church of Sant'Antonio, a destination for many cyclists because it allows several choices, including descending from Selino, continuing to Val Brembilla or ascending and continuing to Blello and Val Taleggio. This second part has little or no traffic. More pedestrians than cars. Here the asphalt is not very good, often patched. Not ... read more

Passerby climb, one of the great classics of the Imagna Valley. The traditional climb ends in the square of Berbenno in front of the church of Sant'Antonio Abate. As I said, climb for passistoni where you can also push harder ratios if you are fit and want to do your PR. Also nice is the Ceresola variant (harder than this one) that you take shortly after the start of the climb by turning right at the fork.

First part harder and perhaps less beautiful in terms of scenery. Then it is at altitude and beautiful views

Prima parte più dura e forse meno bella a livello paesaggistico. Poi si sta in quota e begli scorci

This is a nice route that allows you to complete a loop around the entire Val Brembilla mainly without traffic and on generally good roads.

Cute section that can be pedalled and then continued straight on towards Passo Culmine San Pietro. Road in good condition, no traffic and very sheltered by the clearing even in the heat

An ascent that can be pedalled without any particular difficulty, on good asphalt overall and with little traffic. Wide views between Valle Imagna and Val Taleggio. Recommended in spring and autumn. Possibility of water along the route (fountains present at Berbenno and Gerosa). To be completed with a loop route straddling the two valleys.
