Voor deze omgeving een betrekkelijk lange klim, en het loopt wel lekker. Je gaat hier weg van de Maas, diep de Voerstreek in. Het tweede deel is zeker mooier dan het eerste stuk De snelweg ligt er naast, dus het meeste verkeer zit daar. Daarbij is krijg je na de afdaling een "doodlopend" weggetje, voor autoverkeer. De fietser mag gewoon verder. Vanaf daar kom je alleen de wandelaars en collega-fietsers tegen. Je komt uit op een grote N-weg dus daar moet je oppassen, want het wordt dan weer drukker.
