Lovely climb up the side of a remote valley on a singletrack road. The final 2km to Ffynnon Eidda is superb where the head of the valley suddenly opens out onto the remote upland of the Migneint. If you've reached Ffynnon Eidda by another route and have time to spare it is well worth dropping down to Carrog and riding back up the climb.
