Coming from Rino's "shortcut", we crossed the village of Berzo towards the very well-known bent Cross of Cevo (built in honour of Giovanni Paolo II, the previous polish pope Karol Wojtyla).
It's a broad and main road, which leads you from Demo to Cevo and therefore Valley of Saviore. No much traffic and pavement is great. Landscape on your right, while you're climbing, is always worthy.
