On the left a quick look-through over a meadow and a little further on the hotel is a nice change. The spice is mainly in the beginning and that can still feel through in the second steeper bit.
Leuke ietwat golvende klim over een kleine asfaltweg door een mooi bos (al heb je wel steeds een hek aan de rechterkant). Links even een doorkijkje over een weiland en iets verderop is het hotel een leuke afwisseling. De pit zit vooral in het begin en dat kan nog wel doorvoelen in het tweede steilere stukje.

I did this climb mainly as a descent; it just always worked out that way. As a climb it is quite long. Plenty to see anyway: estate Watermeerwijk on the right, forest and the old stately hotel Erica (with a touch of faded glory) on the left. Ik deed deze klim vooral als afdaling; dat kwam gewoon altijd zo uit. Als beklimming is deze nog best lang. Genoeg te zien in ieder geval: landgoed Watermeerwijk rechts, bos en het oude statige hotel Erica (met een vleugje vergane glorie) links.
