Quieter, wilder and more interesting than the Col de Luens, this cute little road leads to an enormous castle overlooking a welcoming little village. The little road hesitates, descends, then rises again, then vaguely meanders back up a gentle climb before changing its mind. The section at 9% is quite short. An easy and soothing little climb. The road is fine. And then there at least, you really feel like you're in the forest of the Gorges du Verdon. Wild blackberries galore...... read more
