A two-part climb. The first part which goes up nicely is a road with a central reservation and very tight lanes which makes it too little space to cycle properly on the bike lane. The cars's and trucks come right past you which is very unpleasant. Fortunately, more space soon becomes available after the railroad tracks. At the side road after climbing you see the road again going up nicely but from here you ride on a somewhat bumpy tarmac bike path. But soon you turn right into a small and quiet asphalt road through a neighborhood of detached houses. The climb here is a little less steep than on the main road but it goes on for a long time and the quiet surroundings are a lot more pleasant. Even after the transmitter mast, it continues to climb somewhat until the end. Now and then nice views to the right.
Een tweeledige klim. Het eerste deel wat lekker omhoog loopt is een weg met een middenberm en erg krappe rijstroken waardoor het te weinig plek is om op de fietsstrook goed te kunnen fietsen. De auto's en vrachtwagens komen vlak langs je heen wat erg onaangenaam is. Gelukkig komt er na het spoor al snel meer ruimte beschikbaar. Bij de zijweg na klimmen zie je de weg weer mooi omhoog lopen maar vanaf hier rijd je over een wat hobbelig tegelfietspad. Maar al snel ga je naar rechts een klein en rustig asfaltweggetje door een wijk met vrijstaande huizen in. Het klimt hier iets minder hard dan over de hoofdweg maar het gaat wel lekker lang door en de rustige omgeving is een stuk aangenamer. Ook na de zendmast blijft het nog enigszins klimmen tot het eind. Zo nu en dan aardig uitzicht naar rechts.
