Did this climb today (21 May 2025) as a descent from Zussen to Emael. Turns out that much of the concrete path has disappeared due to excavation work. A gravel road has been laid in its place, but it is absolutely not rideable on a road bike. Gravel bikes or MTBs will probably do. It is not known how long this situation will last.
Vandaag (21 mei 2025) deze klim als afdaling gedaan vanuit Zussen naar Emael. Blijkt dat groot deel van het betonpad verdwenen is ivm afgravingswerkzaamheden. Er is wel een grindweg voor in de plaats gelegd maar die is met een racefiets absoluut niet te rijden. Met gravelbike of MTB zal het waarschijnlijk wel lukken. Het is ombekend hoe lang deze situatie zal duren.
