1 of my favourite climbs where you can see the base from afar. On Elverenberg, you can climb nice and easy and pass a farm on the left where the farmer and his servants are always busy.

When you are in danger of running out of breath, your legs suddenly get oxygen again in a small descent before turning left up to the Fox Hole.

Now you are among the trees and visibility is limited, while the percentages remain around 8%. On its own, it takes a while, but it does get less steep towards the end.

Once at the end of the climb you can go out 4 different ways, my preference being to go straight down Five Street and then take a breather after about 200 metres and enjoy the view on the left.

Nice climb through beautiful scenery. In two stages. It's a little tricky because of the turn you have to take after the descent and then pull back up but it's certainly not difficult.

Mooie klim door mooi landschap. In twee trappen.

Cool cobbled climb, not too steep. Much nicer than some climbs in the region (Berendries, Valkenberg, ...). Definitely recommended for newer cyclists or more advanced cyclists who want to grind extra altimeters.

! Beware when descending along Kloosterbosstraat after this climb, the road surface is badly damaged by the heat and the asphalt has risen, dangerous when descending!

Calling the Elverenberg a mountain is like calling the Keutenberg a mountain.
Together with the combination with the Vossenhol, it is a solid diptych. Alaphilippe has recently started his chasse-patatate there. The Elverenberg solo as it is often taken between Berendries and Valkenburg is not much.

Quiet climb between the fields, definitely recommended. Also the one street further (Kloosterbosstraat) to the left is definitely worthwhile.

Always in combination with the Berendries so that (in my case) you are still broken when you start this one. After the Elverenberg you get some breathing space, turn left and then you can speed up on the Vossenhol. This one is less steep and the piece of 2% in the middle gives you some space to add more teeth and start the last 200 meters at full speed.

First climb the Berendries and then to this fantastic climb, always Vossenhol take there then you have done the whole segment. You can also take the descent through Kloosterbos, also worthwhile.

As mentioned before, the climb is usually done right after the Berendries.
Very nice and quiet surroundings during and after the climb.
Because of the short descent you can also speed up a bit to get to the Vossenhol.

Nice Flemish climb, short to the Berendries. Nice environment, never gets very difficult, small piece of descent halfway.

Mooie Vlaamse klim, kort naar de Berendries. Mooie omgeving, wordt nooit heel lastig, kleine stukje afdaling halvewege.

Long and not so difficult but very beautiful. My favorite climb of the region around Brakel. Be careful if you follow the red loop of the rv cycling route: the descent after this climb is rather dangerous (narrow road with some nasty curves).
