The start of Rue de Dreiborn is already great fun with the wide, good road and the two hairpin bends. The gradient remains moderate and then decreases.
Before the bridge over the Aalbach, turn right at a small shrine. From here, there is hardly any car traffic. The turn-off is signposted as "Koeppchen". Likewise the next 90° bend to the right, from where the path becomes a little steeper again. The path then becomes narrower, but remains of good quality. Sometimes there are chippings and shortly before the end there is a wide drainage grating for rain. You then reach the Koeppchen chapel with an exceptional view over the vineyards and the Moselle.
