Nice climb: good tarmac, nice scenery (some green), very quiet (didn't meet anyone today). You don't have far views either, and behind each corner it gets a bit tougher each time. Nice alternative to the Kortekeer (I do find the Kortekeer tougher than this one). Also ideal as a descent towards Koppenberg (if you come from Nukerke).

It runs parallel to the Kortekeer and I actually find them more difficult. The Kortekeer has some rest, while this one keeps going steeply all the time. You ride sheltered between the trees for the most part. Asphalt is good and there is hardly ever any traffic. The only pity about the climb is that it ends at the stone road to Ronse and your only choice is to follow it to the top of Kortekeer to cross over or to ride back down via Kortekeer (or further along the stone road to Ronse if you're crazy).

Still, it is a tough one. The climb is quite sheltered by the trees around the road. You end up on a big road, so watch out.
