Behoorlijk gevarieerde klim, met name door de kasseien in de eerste kilometer die bovendien midden door het centrum van het stadje loopt (oppassen voor wandelaars en winkelend publiek). Hier is het ook een paar keer zigzaggen naar boven toe, met 3 scherpe haarspeldjes. Eenmaal de kasseien af loopt de klim mooi constant door, waarbij je nog even moet opletten bij het oversteken van de autoweg halverwege.
