Small climb over cobblestones that you should only do if you want to go to the pancake house. The latter is really recommended as it is beautifully located but keep in mind that the road really gets a lot worse after the climb section. The sandy sections are well maintained and are okay, but the descent right after the paved section is filled with rubble and even with a gravel bike you will bounce off the bike if you are not careful. So cycle very slowly.... read more

Heel rustig fietsen dus.

Unless you really want to go to the pancake restaurant (highly recommended, much better than the Witch Dance down the road) then you should just ignore this road on your road bike.

Only do it with a gravel bike or MTB. It looks tempting, but as soon as the cobblestones turn into gravel, it is sometimes hard to do, even with a car. The pancake restaurant is a must in terms of views and location, but if it's the pancakes you're after, you can also just top the Holdeurn/Oude Kleefsebaan and eat a pancake at the Heksendans opposite Tivoli.
